USTLG delegates enjoyed their visit to University of Chester’s Thornton Science Park – it was quite an experience to hold our meeting in a library building originally designed to resemble a Lancaster bomber! We heard lots of different perspectives on engaging students with the physical library, its services and its electronic resources. As always we picked up plenty of tips to apply in our own roles and enjoyed meeting colleagues from across the country.
The slides are now available from the Past meetings pages, together with a Storify of the day’s tweets.
Thanks very much to our hosts from University of Chester and to our inspiring speakers. Thank you to Altmetric for their sponsorship, which enabled us to provide a free lunch.
The next USTLG meeting will take place on 30th November 2016 at the University of West London. Please send your ideas for a theme and/or offers to speak to Carole Rhodes.
